Malbec is a black-skinned grape variety native to south-western France (specifically the area around Cahors), but now better known as the iconic wine grape of Argentina. Through its success in the vineyards of Mendoza, in a few short decades Malbec has shot from relative obscurity to international fame, simultaneously bringing new-found attention and respect to Argentina as a wine-producing nation.

Product Description

Tasting notes:

A Medium-bodied wine aged in french and american oak barrels for up to one year. Light red berry fruits on the paletter, mixed with creamy, slightly smoky notes that derive from the oak. This wine pairs very well with barbecued foods.

Intense red color with purple hues, it captures the aroma of red berries and plums and conveys a high concentration and elegance. In the palate it tastes juicy, sweet, with notes of chocolate and vanilla due to its growth in oak. Intense and rich in its finish, it is ideal served with mature cheese, red roasted meat, filled pasta, and argentine roast.

Prefermentative maceration at low temperature and posterior fermentation at a controlled temperature allows us to preserve the primary aroma and to keep a unique varietal type. The malolactic fermentation and the careful care in oak give this wine structure elegance and notes of refined complexity
